Imagine Me

When I applied,
I had no hope and hid in a
corner in the cybercafé opposite
all other customers.

I hated the heat and I
hated lecture rooms. Lecturers were
never accessible. It seemed they
flew away immediately after lectures.

If anyone asks
for my reason, I’ll draw a
tree and say ‘I’m looking for
an angel to give me a miracle’.

And today I stand in the
center of the world
writing poetry in Britain.
Imagine me!
