I am not your perfect girlfriend or

your best buddy.

or that slim shoddy in your office.

but I am different from the rest of them.

I am the one born to knee in prayer

My purpose is to be the mother of your children

to guide your swimming seeds to my eggs

so that I can bring forth mini us

who will raise their little voices

not because it’s a title

But because you are gentle
